Christian Counseling FAQs
Learn what to expect and how to take the first step.
Online Christian counseling is available, allowing you to meet privately from home or another quiet location. Contact Stacy to ask about current in-person availability in the Glendora, California area.
True You Ministries primarily serves Christian women experiencing anxiety, emotional overwhelm, unhealthy patterns, difficult boundaries, betrayal, shame, past wounds, or a persistent sense of feeling stuck.
Struggling does not mean you have failed at faith. Counseling can help connect what you believe with emotional wounds, false beliefs, triggers, and protective patterns that may still need healing.
Sessions provide a safe place to talk honestly about what you are experiencing. Together, you and Stacy explore present concerns, relevant experiences, beliefs, emotions, relationships, and patterns while integrating biblical truth and practical counseling tools.
Biblical truth, prayer, and your relationship with God are woven naturally into the process. Faith is not used to minimize difficult emotions; it supports honest exploration, renewed thinking, identity, hope, and healing.
Session length and scheduling are discussed during the free consultation so you understand the current options before beginning.
True You Ministries provides pastoral counseling and does not present itself as an insurance-based clinical practice. Ask during your consultation about current fees, payment, and any documentation that may be available.
Depending on your goals, you may use reflection exercises, checklists, workbook activities, or practical tools between sessions. These activities support the counseling process rather than replace it.
Current scheduling and cancellation expectations will be provided before your first appointment. Contact True You Ministries directly if you need clarification about an existing appointment.
Begin with a free 20-minute consultation. You can briefly share what is bringing you to counseling, ask questions, and determine whether working together feels like the right fit.
